Types of dentures.

Full dentures or full denture Full dentures replace all the teeth that have been extracted in the upper or lower jaw.

Partial dentures or partial denture This type is used to replace one or several extracted teeth. Usually, partial dentures are attached by hooking them onto the adjacent healthy teeth using metal clasps.

Immediate dentures or immediate denture Usually made in advance and fitted immediately after tooth extraction is done. However, they are only temporary dentures and need to be replaced after the gums have healed and shrunk approximately a month after tooth extraction.”
